BUTCH TROUSERS & ALICE IN WONDERLAND!

Well Happy Friday peeps! I am truly exhausted after a big week at work. Not only did Pretty Disturbia feature on Prime Time Tv, It also featured in The Independent newspaper and we had our SS10 shipment arrive! I decided to celebrate last night with a few drinks at Matt & Phreds Jazz bar, It was a fabulous night! Phew, I'm looking forward to an early night tonight though in preparation for a 30th party tomorrow!

Soooo, I wore this outfit yesterday, as I never wear trousers anymore! I did get told I looked a bit lesbian in them though- so that may be why! Anywho, I teamed my high waisted trousers from New Look with this fabulously unusual Pretty Disturbia top, which I think is very " Alice in Wonderland" and only £34.99. Right, time to finish for the week and open a well deserved bottle of vino....

SPRING COLOUR MIS-MATCHING!

Well I must be willing for Spring to hurry up and get here- I mean i'm wearing 2 colours, predicted big for SS10... but these are colours that should not necessarily worn together! Even Bright yellow and lilac is a new one on me! ....O well, Its nice to be different!

I wore this Pretty Disturbia lilac, doll face vest dress for the first time yesterday as its perfect for doing ballet in- comfortable, soft and stretchy and new to the online store for Spring for £34.99. I teamed it with my very loved yellow leather boots from River Island- bought many moons ago for £39.99 and a matching cardigan from Primark. I accessorised with Red Lippy (another dash of colour- O dear!), A silver snake necklace and a chunky, black rose ring from Portabello market for £3.
I'm acheing today but thoroughly enjoyed last nights ballet class- lets just hope I can keep it up and tone up nicely in time for my holiday in Egypt, next Month..... ;)

HOLEY JUMPER DRESS & STUDDED BOOTS!

Well its ging to be a quick post tonight as I have to finish early for once and do some of that "exercise" thing! Yup, I'm going to Ballet again- with every intention to keep it back up this time... Hmm, we will see!

I wore this outfit yesterday which looks great, but the holey jumper, is'nt so practical and I kept getting caught on door handles and pans handles! For £10 from The Vestry though, you can't complain! I teamed it with an orange polo neck from H&M, with black tights and some gorgeous over the knee, studded Carvella boots which were £280!! I wore some orangey- red lippy and accessorised with a black belt, a chunky silver bangle and my D&G diamante watch.
Now, where are those ballet slippers and leotard??..... ;)

PREPPY CLUELESS CHECKS & HOT PINK!

Hows your day going peeps? Im exhausted after exhibiting at Pure in London, and craving a few days off with a good old sleep in, but with my list a mile long, thats not going to happen, just yet!

I wore this little ensemble yesterday, which reminds me a little of Alicia Silverstone in Clueless (One of my old, well love teen flicks!) Maybe its the preppy checks and mix and match colours that do it. I mean, I even matched my hot pink lippy and grey eyeshadow to it!
The dress is a cheap number from Primark last year, with grey marl tights from Topshop, A pink poloneck from H&M and a pink shrug from Miss Selfridge (which, Ironically I've had since I was about 16 and last watching Clueless!)
I teamed it with over the knee boots and kept my accessories minimal with a ring. I mean lets be honest, less is more with so much hot pink in one outfit....

A SUMMERY HALTERNECK & PUNKY WITH PEARLS!

I hope you had a fine and dandy weekend? I did indeed, spending a night in Knutsford at a delightful Seafood Restaurant and drinks in the Wine bar as well as having a family day yesterday. The weekend just go far too fast for my liking...

Anywho, I wore this yesterday, which was'nt the most sensible outfit after waking to up to all that snow, and the fresh winter chill in the air! I do love Winter, but even I'm now looking forward to Spring and some good old British sunshine.
I guess thats why I opted for this summery little number, which consists of a black cut out shoulder top which I've had for about 10 years, teamed with a punky belt from Principles, pearl earrings and this vintage halterneck dress which I bought from Ebay for £14- which is about as nautical style as I get.
Knee boots were essential to keep me warm, so atleast one item was practical!

CLASSIC MONOCHROME & AUDREY HEPBURN!

Happy Friday all! Don't you just love that Friday feeling! ...Especially when you've worked 12 days in a row and in need of a much earned rest!
I'm muchly looking forward to a sleep in tomorrow morning and then a night out in Knutsford, Cheshire tomorrow night. Also, If you watch tomorrow evenings, ITV All Star Mr & Mrs, Look out for Emma Gleave wearing Pretty Disturbia!

I wore this monochrome number yesterday which consists of black leggings, A tutu from Bay Trading for £10, The slash arm sleeve Pretty Disturbia top for £27.99, as well as a classic Audrey Hepburn printed Tshirt, which was a present and I just love it! I Accessorised with some white peep toe stillettos, and black nail varnish (smokey eyes and neutral lippy) ...and viola, tip top head to toe Monochrome!
Anywho, have a tip top weekend and don't forget to look out for us on ITV! ;)

GOLD BROCADE VINTAGE & NEW!

Happy Weekend eve peeps, and apologies for the fact I've not posted all week! I've just come back from Exhibiting Pretty Disturbia at Pure, Olympia London. As usual, it was a fantastic show where we picked up 5 new accounts, had numerous re-orders and even got chance to meet the stylist for SATC 2 who loved the collection! A compliment indeed.....

Anywho, I wore this little outfit last Thursday before I popped down to London, which consists of a black polo neck, with matching leggings. A gold brocade mini skirt from Marks & Spencers and a cropped gold brocade jacket from Rags to Bitches which was just £20! With a key trend being contrasting prints, I find myself having fun with mixing patterns together which I would'nt normally do! Although, My friend did point out that day that that my jacket and skirt, really did'nt match and did I know? hehe. O well, maybe clashing prints will be another fashion faux pas we look back on and regret!

GREY, LACE & SHOULDERS ON SHOW!

I can't tell you how glad I am its Friday! (Even though I'll probably end up working tomorrow-doh!) It s a much needed Friday night out at least to switch me off work for atleast a few hours....

I wore this lil outfit yesterday (and loved it muchly) as it brought back memories of the days when I was obsessed with cut out shoulder tops for clubbing in!
As it was only a Thursday and intended to work at my desk and not dance like a crazed clubber, I teamed the lace top from Paris with a grey marl polo neck top and tiered skirt from Topshop which was just £3 on a car boot sale. I wore sparkly silver miss selfridge leggings, some lil black shoes and red lippy was just the hint of colour I needed!

Anywho, a happy Friday to you all, and may you have a tres fabulous, restful weekend!

SPORTY DAY TO NIGHTIME GLAMOUR!

Okay, I'm kind of cheating by posting an outfit from a few days ago but the truth is, I looked so bad yesterday, I did'nt want a record of it! I've been working such long hours lately preparing for the Pure Exhibition, my outfits efforts have slipped a tad!

So.... this outfit was a re-vamp of the post before last as I donned some more glam items to head out in for a drink after the gym! (Wonder Woman did'nt seem right for a cocktail bar!)
I wore this bargain, £5 dress from Republic (Which was £35) and primark tights with some classic, patent tee-bar shoes! The shrug, I wore previously in the day and I added a pearl choker to accessorise.
A viola- day to night time looks in one......
Although, I've just realised the shrug is the only thing I wore that day?!
I think I need some more sleep.....

DESIGNER ORIENTAL!

Well, Happy hump day to you all! I am officially stressed with only one week left before I'm back in London for the Pure, Olympia tradeshow, and theres a list a mile long still yet to do for the Pretty Disturbia exhibition stand. Something tells me I won't be going to back to ballet classes after all tonight :(....

Anywho, I wore this little number yesterday, which I think looks a tad Oriental with all the red and the patterned corset style top. I have on a simple red polo neck from Hungary which was £6, My designer Oriental style top from the Elite dress agency for £30, High shine navy leggings from London ( Just £3!!), My plum satin gather Pretty Disturbia skirt £44.99 and some white peep toe stilettos which were seriously hurting my feet by the end of the day! Atleast my feet got a work out yesterday even if I won't be!...

Tuesday 2 February 2010

SPORTY WONDER WOMAN!

Well, this is what I wore in Saturday as I popped down to the gym for a much needed workout. Terribly, it's the first bit of exercise I've attempted this year! It seemed therefore appropriate to wear a wonder woman top in irony, seeing as I'm tres unfit!

So... I wore this ironic "Wonder woman" vest which is actually nightwear from Peacocks for £8! I teamed it with some classic reebok leggings, white plimsoles and to disguise the sporty outfit- this cropped jacket with matching belt and Pretty Disturbia satin gather skirt £49.99. I stripped the skirt, jacket and belt for a very comfortable gyming outfit and I'm even wearing a swimming costume underneath for the relaxing swim I had after that. In my aim to keep up the healthy kick, I'm eating a slim a soup whilst I type and intend to go back to ballet classes tomorrow! Wonder woman eat your heart out.......

FLARES, PURPLE LEATHER & A GRUMPY FACE!

I hope you all had a fine and dandy weekend? After spending most of last week dashing round London for the Drapers Etail awards and meeting lots of fabulous press (who loved Pretty Disturbia's SS10 collection!!- Vogue included!), I had a nice relaxing weekend to recover.

I realised just how little I wear trousers these days so Yesterday, I donned these old faithful flares from C&A, which I bought in Spain, many moons ago. I teamed it with a Purple vest from H&M, vintage shirt and neck bow, as well as my fabulous purple leather with fur trim coat which I picked up for a bargainous £35 from a vintage shop in Oxford....
Apologies for the tres moody face, not sure why I look such a grump! Anywho, back to designing the Pretty Disturbia ss10 Look Book for Wednesdays looming deadline!
Have a fab evening peeps!
